For the first time in its existence, the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) is publishing an Investor Directory of its registered companies. The main purpose of this directory is to market the businesses within Afghanistan and abroad as well as ease communication between the companies, customers and other interested parties. This directory provides a listing of approximately 3000 companies currently active in Afghanistan and contains the basic contact information of foreign and local companies. The companies are categorised into sectors and broken down alphabetically by company name. Foreign clients who are interested in engaging into partnerships with local entities are now able to find and contact the respective local companies.
We would like to thank all our active companies for their close cooperation, which enabled us to prepare this directory. In our database we have another 3000 companies which claim not to be active, but still posses an AISA license. Therefore we have excluded them from the directory this time as we would like to motivate them through publication of this directory to report their activeness and renew their licenses.
This directory will be published by AISA on an annual basis. We have been at pains to ensure that the information contained herein is correct and current at the time of publishing in line with information provided by the companies. However, please let us know if you spot any incorrect information. Since this is our inaugural issue we are happy to receive your improvement suggestions. Also contact us if you are an investor and would like to be added to the next issue of the directory, or are already in the directory but want your entry updated.
